Echofon Pro for Twitter App Reviews

has wiped my emojis and also stopped including all those in a convo in thread so i cannot see who is being replied to. please fix!

Doesnt show the persons @ when you reply to a tweet

Ive been trying to love this app like I used to but there are so many broken and missing features. Polls dont show up at all and never have, mentions now dont have the @username part, emojis dont work currently, and tweets over 140 characters arent fully loading in. Ive used this app for probably years by now but its getting hard to keep loving.

As of the last update, my emoticons/emojis no longer work. They display as a block with an "A" partially displayed.

New update has taken away emojis, doesnt show who you @ reply to and is a big mess.

Please fix the issues with this last update. Emojis arent showing up properly and some of the retweet options arent actually posting to Twitter

1. Emojis are no longer working 2. Replies no longer include @username when viewing 3. Notifications are hit or miss I really dont want to switch to a different twitter app, but these things need fixed. Been using Echofon for years and have had few problems until this last update.

Tired of non-working links. Since the last Twitter update, some links are not working. Clicking on them just re-shows the same twitter message over and over and over and over again. Link address shows listed in tweet saying twitter.com/i/web/status/(#)

Make you $10 for a "pro" app and you get no support for long tweets, emojis dont work, replies dont sho who you are replying to and most importantly support for snappy tv vids STILL doesnt work. Its week 4 of the NFL and I still cant watch any vids or highlights they tweet. Also no response from Echofon when problems are tweeted to them. Save your money and either get free version or twitter app.

DONT BUY. WASTE OF MONEY. AND THE TEAM IS NOT LISTENING TO OUR COMPLAINTS.

...but riddled with irritating bugs, and an awkward interface on iPad *and* iPhone. Most recent update still doesnt understand emojis very well, replacing them with a weird "A"-like character, and the apps handling of linked conversation threads and single user Tweetstorms is abysmal (can only reliably find subsequent tweets, not previous ones). Basically its Twitter-like but I need to go to my PC if I really want to know whats going on. Pretty terrible.

Ive been using it for years, and I really couldnt ask for a lot more from it at this point. Its also regularly updated, and thats a plus for me.

Crashes constantly.

It does its job. No issues. Not ground breaking either.

I havent updated my review in a long time because even though new versions of the app come out more often than they used to, very little has changed in the app, and they never fix what I hate about it: Ive used this app for a long time and I think every update is mostly pointless. They seem to be unable to fix Twitters new convoluted changes to media and quote RTs. Theyve put out a few updates very recently, but theyre still broken and buggy. You cant know who rts your tweets unless you turn on push notifications, you cant tell whos followed you unless you turn on push notifications. I want a comparable notifications screen as the twitter website or iOS app. You cant even get all your replies, like if someone uses a quote rt. Threaded conversations are kind of nonexistent-- you can only read a thread if you start at the last tweet. The only good features are the black background and muting hashtags. TBH, Im not even sure why they update the app, because its not at all competitive or functional compared to the (admittedly limited) other options out there. In general, I feel like this app is on the way to being abandoned, or whoever is designing it doesnt actually use Twitter much and therefore doesnt care about functionality.

Love this! By far, one of my favorite apps! Keep up the good work Echofon!

on this update changed FONT style and FONT weight. Font color become gray and not black. It makes difficult to read. Hope back to former style and weight.

Cant access Group DM - Direct Message as on Twitter app. Several Twitter lists I created wont show on echofon. This app hasnt kept up with a changing Twitter.
